8x 500mm Pistons at University of Split, Croatia
Edinburgh Designs have 8x500mm Pistons at the University of Split, Croatia.
Our project partner, Belmet97 installed the machines which were then commissioned remotely.
The brand new state of the art laboratory also holds a current flume and wind tunnel.
Replacement high speed towing carriage for Virginia Tech University
Edinburgh Designs have just installed a replacement high speed towing carriage for Virginia Tech University.
The existing Kempf & Remers carriage was removed to make way for a state of the art modern machine.
The system utilises the existing rails with an entirely new carriage chassis, drive system and rail buffers.
New towing tank at Hochschule Emden/Leer
The new maritime laboratory at Hochschule Emden/Leer is built around a new towing tank by Edinburgh Designs.
The tank is 33m long and 3m wide and features 8×0.7m hinge depth force feedback flaps in a movable box module.
The Towing machine is capable of 5m/s and high acceleration rates.
The new laboratory is design to falilitate the validation of their state of the art CFD research.
